The Principal Secretary for Public Investments and Assets Management Mr. Cyrell Wagunda hosted a delegation from Standard Chartered Bank led by Mr. Dalu Ajene, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Head of Coverage, who had paid a courtesy visit at the Treasury Building.

The PS congratulated Mr.  Ajene following his recent appointment in the current post saying he looks forward to working closely to continue strengthening the longstanding partnership between the Government of Kenya and the Bank.

He reiterated that, the Bank has been Kenya’s trusted partner for over the years by supporting the country’s economic and financial development through its extensive banking expertise and global network.

“The Bank has offered trade finance solutions that have supported Kenya’s international trade, helped the country’s private sector access global markets and contributed to cross-border capital flows that support economic growth,” said the PS.

On his part, Mr. Ajene thanked the Treasury for the continued support and partnerships saying they remain committed to furthering the collaboration for the mutual benefit of the people of Kenya.
