Develop and implement public procurement and asset disposal policies, regulations and guidelines in line with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act (PPADA).
Standardize procurement processes, documentation and reporting across government.
Administer the framework for the procurement, disposal, administration and management of common-user items.
Oversee the transition to e-procurement across Ministries, State Departments and Agencies.
Assist procuring entities in preparing and implementing procurement plans aligned with national priorities and objectives.
Provide training, capacity building and technical support to procurement and asset disposal officers at National and County Government levels.
Oversee procurement and supplies officers in MDAs to ensure compliance, transparency and efficiency.
Guide public entities on the disposal of unserviceable, obsolete or surplus stores and equipment.
Promote transparency, accountability and public confidence in public procurement and asset disposal systems.
Oversee the management system for procurement and asset disposal across National and County Governments.
